What is SmartCover warranty?

What’s it all about.
With a SmartCover Warranty, any electrical or mechanical breakdown is covered. That means never having to worry about expensive repair bills. SmartCover extends your manufacturers warranty beyond its normal expiry period, up to a total period of 2, 3, 5 or 7 years. Refer to your purchase invoice for details of the warranty and warranty period purchased by you.
From 28 September 2009 onwards, all customers who have purchased a warranty, also get the added Price Protection cover for 30 days from date of purchase.

Before you make a claim...
See if you can find the answer to your problem in the manufacturer’s instructions.
This is important because if you do make a claim and the product is found to be in working order (i.e. not faulty or the fault found is not one that is covered under SmartCover or a user operational issue), you will be responsible for any call out and service charges.

If you do need to make a claim you’ll need to provide us with a proof of purchase document that details your product as well as the SmartCover Warranty you have purchased. Making a claim - Warranty (Except Price Protection)
1. When logging your claim please have your purchase invoice handy, as we will need proof of purchase of the product and the SmartCover Warranty.
2. If the fault persists and your manufacturer’s warranty period has ended please use this link to the claims management website (http://www.nzclaim.com/bondandbond) that provides 24-hour 7-day automatic claims handling. Instant repairer selection for your claim, with full details provided to you. Instant notification to repairer of your claim once you complete the web based process. Log on using your claim number during the repair process to track your repair and send messages to the repairer or the claims administrator.

Making a claim – Price Protection
        Contact us at 0800 866 000 between 8.30am and 5pm Mon- Fri (excluding public holidays) to obtain a claim form.        
With the claim form you will be required to provide the following information within14 days of notifying the claim;
• An original receipt showing payment and the original purchase invoice.
• The documents proving the difference in price between your item and the same, lower priced item; such as catalogues, seller’s official notification, and advertisements, which identifies the item, the price and the manufacturer’s or distributor’s references, as well as the validity period of the advertised price

What are the delivery charges for online orders?

The following charges are specific to Bond and Bond Internet orders and may differ to delivery rates offered in stores.  Each product is classified as ‘Small’ or ‘Large’. There are two delivery rates, based on the size of the product. A single order consisting of a combination of Small and Large items will only be charged at the Large rate.
   
Standard Region Rates
Small Item Delivery Rate:
$6.00 per order.
Large Item Delivery Rate:
$65.00 per order.
 
Remote Region Rates

Due to increased transportation costs, deliveries to the following areas have different charges. Remote Regions are defined as: 100 kilometres or more away from the nearest Noel Leeming store.

Small Item Delivery Rate:
$6.00 per order.
Large Item Delivery Rate:
$99.00 per order.
 
Please note that in some cases, such as delivery to off shore islands or some remote areas, the delivery will need to be arranged by the customer directly with a transport company of their choice. For further information on where Bond+Bond deliver contact Customer Care on 0800 20 20 66 .
